Nothing is Better than the First Few Days of Spring

Yellow daffodils and green grass are shown in bright sunlight with trees and a blue sky in the background.

Over the last few months, the northeastern US has seen record snow with bomb cyclones, Snomageddon and lots and lots of shoveling.

But not this week! No. This week the magic happened. We’re enjoying a baby end-of-winter heat wave, which just so happened to coincide with daylight savings. Nature is saying you’re welcome and I’m showing my gratitude. Deep bows and offerings to you, mama nature.

Spring is my JAM. It’s hope, possibility, potential. It’s change, evolution. Crocuses and daffodils fighting up through the grass and dirt, plump buds preparing to explode into flowers that will have me sneezing all of April. BRING IT, SPRING! Make all the yonic and fertility metaphors you like; you’re not wrong. The Easter Bunny is laying eggs and we’ve all acted like that’s normal for years. Because: fertility, eggs, procreating like bunnies, spring.

Spring is the embodiment of explosive change; the ultimate coaching metaphor. And now, we have the extra light and warmth to give us all a little extra pep to take things up a notch.

Myself, I’m leveling up with a coaching program in New Mexico next week, taught by David Elliot. Over the last few years, I’ve been evolving my coaching work away from project management and into meaning, purpose and the essential art of human being.

My hope is that David’s workshop will give me additional tools, and allow me to support you with intuition, breathwork, bodywork and presence. I look forward to incorporating this into our work. Feel free to reach out and book a session for April, when I return.

What have YOU got going on this spring? Anything special you’re looking forward to? Whether it’s yes or no, do yourself a favor and go sit in the sun, lay on the grass and welcome change. It’s the only constant in life 🙂

Besos,
Allison
